1This is the third time I am coming to you. Every charge must be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses.
Is Paul alluding to his coming third visit? If he finds the same mess, will he put them on trial and call in witnesses? On Paul’s second visit he was humiliated by the Corinthians when he came waring kid gloves. If he comes a third time, they can expect a hammer.

O Sovereign and almighty Lord, bless all thy people, and all thy flock. Give thy peace, thy help, thy love unto us thy servants, the sheep of thy fold, that we may be united in the bond of peace and love, one body and one spirit, in one hope of our callings, in thy divine and boundless love.
