Knowing The Word in Genesis 3:8-13, Who's to Blame?

8 And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. [Did they used to have a daily chat while walking with God in the garden? The trees God made for man to look at (2:9) become a place to hide from him. What was created as good is used for bad.] 9 But the Lord God called to the man and said to him, “Where are you?” [Now begins the divine inquest of God the creator who becomes God the initiating redeemer.] 10 And he said, “I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked [how does he know?], and I hid myself.” [Adam does not lie yet fails to confess his sin, turning the conversation to a different topic.] 11 He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?” [God’s questions show he already knows the answers.] 12 The man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit of the tree, and I ate.” [The man excuses himself by blaming the woman and implying it was God’s fault for giving her to him.] 13 Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” [Again the guilty party tries to shift the blame.]
